“And the Spring arose on the garden fair,
Like the Spirit of Love felt everywhere;
And each flower and herb on Earth's dark breast
Rose from the dreams of its wintry rest.”
I have rarely seen a forest as beautiful and magical as the Forest of Halle in late April. The entire forest floor is covered in bluebells. Even though this is an amazing sight to behold, I doubt I will go back there any time soon. The only reason for this is, for me, the overwhelming amount of photographers in the forest at any given time. All standing alongside each other, all taking the same shot, that really takes away the magic for me. So this is a shot from my one and only visit to this magical fairytale forest, taken in April 2016.
“Highly sensitive people are too often perceived as weaklings or damaged goods. To feel intensely is not a symptom of weakness, it is the trademark of the truly alive and compassionate. It is not the empath who is broken, it is society that has become dysfunctional and emotionally disabled.”
