I was a complete skeptic when I first heard the hype for these @ovenly choc chip cookies that are secretly vegan (no butter?!! no eggs?! no way!) but... after seeing a recipe video on them on @food52 and making a batch myself, I’m a believer.🍪🙌🏻 I used avocado oil and three types of chocolate and topped them with @jacobsensaltco @stumptowncoffee salt and whoa, these are pretty amazing. And I just got a new oven so I’ll be testing all sorts of cookies while I work on developing my own personal best version to share with you soon 🙌🏻 What do you look for in a ccc 🍪? Are you a purist or could you go for like a mix-in or two? Are you into mixing it up with some interesting alternative flours? What kind of chocolate? Tell me everything.

  • Homemade PIZZA 🍕 pizza is one of my favorite foods, but it’s hard to find a yeast free crust and no tomatoes 🍅. Check out this easy recipe below 🧀🧀 Crust: 1 1/4 cups cassava flour ( @thrivemarket ) 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 1/2 tablespoon sugar 1 1/2 tablespoon olive oil 2/3 cup water Directions: 1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees 2. Combine flour, baking powder, sugar and salt in a large mixing bowl. Add 1 teaspoon of oil and slowly add water, mixing as you go. 3. Form dough, and knead until solid form 4. Grease a baking sheet and spread out dough to be about 1/4-1/2 inch thick. Pinch edges to form crust 5. Bake for 15 minutes. Then remove from oven and add your favorite toppings and bake for another 10 minutes. Topped: pesto mozzarella sautéed mushrooms onions chicken 😋😋😋😋

  • Winner winner 🍗🍴|| I don’t often roast a chicken, but when I do.... Bought a full chicken on a whim this weekend and she turned out beauutiful. I spatchcocked the chicken (you can find tutorials on YouTube), pulled the skin away from the meat and inserted 5 chopped garlic cloves and grass fed butter underneath the skin, all over the chicken. I seasoned the outside of the skin with pepper, maldon sea salt and lemon before placing 2 big pats of butter on top. I roasted at 400 for about 45 minutes, pulling it out at about 20 minutes to brush with melted butter and lemon.

It literally gave me life. # When I first started this work, I wanted to “go big.” And after a bit of soul searching, I realized “bigness” was me coming from a wound of not feeling seen. And now, three years in and three years wiser and more expressed, I want to go deep. I want to support as many humans as I possibly can in moving blocks out of the way so they can step fully into their purpose and own their impact. It’s the most rewarding, heart-filling work, and I hope I get to spend every day this lit up. # If you need me, I’ll be on the sofa counting my blessings. (And watching friends for the 1000 time).

Banishing restrictive/disordered eating habits (i.e. calorie counting and/or skipping meals to meet a goal) and negative beliefs/thoughts (i.e. I can't have this because I'm on a "diet" or I can have one cookie if I run 4 miles) + Nourishing your body, mind AND soul are not mutually exclusive. Your eating habits, mental health and overall wellness are parts of a whole. One affects the other. It's a packaged deal 💕 + Also, pizza 🍕

It’s genius. 😎 I tried these little boiled-egg/crunchy-dip snack-pack thingies at Expo a couple weeks ago + they were one of my absolute faves. So of course I had to come home + recreate them. How I did this crunchy Everything Bagel seasoned dip + boiled egg snacky👇🏼 #savoringtheflavoring • • 1. Melted 1 tbsp ghee in a large pot over medium heat. 2. Rinsed 1/2 cup uncooked sprouted quinoa, then added to the pot, stirring to coat. Covered the pot, shaking or stirring occasionally as the quinoa crackled + popped for a few min, just to keep it from burning. 3. Removed from heat + stirred in a little Everything Bagel seasoning. 4. Stored in a sealable container. To serve, dip a halved medium-boiled egg in the crunchy dip + devour.👌🏼🤤

  • Taco 🌮 Tuesday at its finest! I used @sietefoods new grain-free tacos shells and I’m obsessed! How to make: heat up some @chosenfoods avocado oil in a large skillet. Sauté 1/4 onion for about 3 min, then add 1 lb organic ground chicken (or turkey) and cook until browned. Seasoned with @primalpalate spice mix. In a separate pan I sautéed red bell pepper & zucchini in avocado oil, salt & pepper. Now assemble the tacos with spinach, the meat, veggies, @betterbeanco beans & guac (from @wholefoods ). Devour! If you’re on your own then you’ll have leftovers for tomorrow. In my situation my girls & Josh were obsessed too and there’s nothing left over!

I think I cried harder than when I spilled an entire bottle of freshly pumped milk.😭 Well, maybe not that hard, but I was super bummed. Luckily I salvaged one and got to try these new #grainfree shells from @sietefoods...which are so insanely good! I filled mine with ground turkey (sautéed in my homemade taco seasoning) + tomatoes + @goodfoods pineapple guac + @greenvalleycreamery lactose free sour cream + fresh cilantro with a side of “cheesy” Mexican caulirice (i mixed it with @goodfoods plant-based queso 👌🏻) Simple & delish - just the way I like it! #realfood

  • Spruce up any salad like this: ▪️Pickled Onions (boil a 1/2 cup of white vinegar and a sprinkle of salt and sugar & pour over sliced thin red onions). ▪️Soft-Boiled “Jammy” Eggs (boil a half inch of water, place eggs in, cover for 6.5 minutes & submerge in ice cold water for 3 afterwards) ▪️Sautéed Zucchini (slice a zucchini thin, heat olive oil on stove top, sauté zucchini with a simple mix of salt and pepper for about 6 minutes and make sure to flip halfway) ▪️Crispy Roasted Chickpeas (drain and can of chickpeas and let sit in colander for 10, microwave chickpeas on a paper towel covered plate for 8, transfer to a metal baking sheet and stir in 1.5 tbsp olive oil and bake on 350 degrees for 30, stir chickpeas into center of baking sheet and cook for another 30 minutes, remove, salt, and let cool)

  • Spicy Sriracha Cauli Bites 😍 Made an easier version of my cauli bites that doesn’t require any flour 🙌🏻 Basically I took my spicy brussel sprouts recipe and used it on cauliflower 💯 Simpler to make and not as heavy because they don’t have the flour so it’s easy to eat them all in one sitting 😜 - - Paired these with some salsa and it was the perfect amount of spicy 👌🏻 Now, just like my spicy brussel sprouts- these are definitely pretty spicy. But if you’re a spice fan- they are sooo tasty 😌 Plus they’re plant based and simple to make 👌🏻 Thinking I’m going to use the leftovers for some tacos 😍 Another recipe with dipping condiments on the side 😂 No shame in the dip game though 😜 Enjoying a nice spring evening over here with a walk and trip to the park with the dogs 🐶 Have a great evening! 💕 - - #healthyfood recipe: 1 head of cauliflower cut into florets 3 tbsp sriracha 1 tbsp maple syrup 1 tsp garlic 1 tbsp olive oil 3 tbsp of coconut aminos Preheat oven to 450F, cut cauliflower into florets. Bake for 15 minutes, plain. While it cooks, mix together all the ingredients in a bowl. Then coat the florets with the mixture and bake another 15 mins. Milk Peda is an easy-to-make dessert recipe which is typically prepared with easily available ingredients like milk powder, condensed milk and is topped with pistachios. However an instant vegan version of the same is easily possible! ⁣ I love to serve this sweet dish on special occasions and festivals.⁣ Recipe below 📝👇🏻⁣ ⁣ INGREDIENTS:⁣ Ingredients for 4 Servings⁣ 🔸10 pieces pistachios⁣ 🔸1/4 teaspoon nutmeg powder⁣ 🔸400 grams Vegan condensed milk⁣ 🔸8 piece green cardamom⁣ 🔸1 tablespoon Vegan ghee⁣ 🔸2 strand saffron⁣ 🔸1 1/2 cup coconut milk powder⁣ ⁣ INSTRUCTIONS:⁣ STEP 1⁣ To begin with ,cut pistachios into halves. Bring a microwave safe bowl and add milk powder, ghee and condensed milk in it.⁣ ⁣ STEP 2⁣ Whisk nicely to avoid lump formation. In a grinder, add cardamom seeds without skin and grind to a fine powder. Mix in nutmeg powder, cardamom powder and saffron in the mixture. Place the bowl in the microwave and heat at high for one minute. Take out the bowl and stir again.⁣ ⁣ STEP 3⁣ Heat again for 30 seconds. The mixture should be of thick consistency. Grease your hands with some oil or ghee.⁣ ⁣ STEP 4⁣ Prepare equal sized balls out of the mixture. Press them a little to give the exact shape of pedas. Place halved pistachios in center. Pressure cook the soaked chickpeas for 4 whistles ( about 10-15 mins )⁣⁣⁣ 2. Heat oil in a pan and add bay leaf, cinnamon stick and cumin seeds and sauté till they turn aromatic.⁣⁣⁣ 3. Then mix in the chopped onions and ginger-garlic paste. Sauté till the onions turn golden brown.⁣⁣⁣ 4. Add tomatoes ,chilli powder, turmeric powder,coriander powder, cumin powder, mango powder, garam masala and salt. Sauté well.⁣⁣⁣ 5. Finally add the cooked chickpeas and 2 cups of water and mix well.⁣⁣⁣ 6.
