I dreamed all night that the osmanthus fragrans fell on the lake. Be careful to hide my love for you and dare not say it. Until it was cut into pieces, and then they were taken away by the carp in the river.
The Cantonese language is an older form of Chinese than Mandarin, which is spoken throughout P.R. China. The Cantonese language is distinct from Mandarin for having more tones (9 to be exact, compared to the 4 tones in Mandarin), and also retains the use of traditional characters in writing, as opposed to simplified characters.

Inksticks or Ink Cakes are a type of solid ink (India ink) used traditionally in several East Asian cultures for calligraphy and brush painting. Inksticks are made mainly of soot and animal glue, sometimes with incense or medicinal scents added. To make ink, the inkstick is ground against an inkstone with a small quantity of water to produce a dark liquid for writing or painting😁
History behind ink?🧐
Ink has been made in the west Zhoudynasty which is 2800 year ago as it has been found that there are black lines painted on the ceramics from that period of time. Up to Shang dynasty, from the recovery of the writing materials, it has been found that the minerals on the words is very similar to ink.
Each quality ink stick is produced by hand by first kneading the dough, then pressing it into a special mould and then drying it until it has the perfect consistency to be used.
The basic ingredients of each Oriental ink stick are plant soots, animal and plant oils, graphite produced from charcoal, plant dyes and often elements of other mineral inks. They can be made for different colors and patterns on them. Some of the inksticks even have nice fragrance!😉
